Balmore Golf Club in Loch Lomond
Situated 7 miles from the centre of Glasgow, Balmore is a picturesque course with uninterrupted views of the unspoiled surrounding countryside. Set with fir plantations, tree lined fairways and burns a feature on several holes. The 5542 yard course is a demanding Par 66 (SSS 67) and features strong Par 4’s, one of the most demanding Par 3’s in golf (15th) and one of the most scenic, (the signature hole 16th).
Founded in 1907 from its original roots in the Scotstoun area of Glasgow, Balmore Golf Club is a popular and much loved golf course in the West of Scotland. Designed by James Braid, the course boasts some very demanding holes set in breathtaking countryside.
