Oban (Glencruitten) in Loch Lomond
18 holes, 4452 yards, par 61, Glencruitten Golf Course is James Braids hidden gem nestling among the hills of Glencruitten Estate. It is a short, hilly scenic course set in the beautiful Glencruitten Glen on the outskirts of Oban, Argyll. Among the fauna, Buzzards are a regular sighting, as are Pheasants, Heron and Deer. Although not visible, there is the remains of a vitrified Roman fort, on top of the hill on the 4th hole, which is a listed ancient monument.
